Postural Checklist
Take 5 minutes to assess your posture
- Is your head and neck upright, facing directly ahead and in-line with your torso?
- Are your eyes at eye level?
- Is your back long with the option of back support?
- Are your shoulders relaxed ?
- Are your arms at right angles, close to your body and forearms parallel with the desk?
- Are your wrists and hands in a "neutral" position – without any bend up or down or to the side?
- Are your thighs parallel to the floor or slightly angled down with the hips higher than your knees?
- Are you feet supported by the floor or a footrest?
- Are you gripping your mouse/phone/pen?
- Are you comfortable with your body free from excess tension?
- Are you taking regular screen breaks as well as your statutory breaks?
